I agree with you. I don’t see him wasting his time, energy and money to be a stalking horse for someone else. He’s very frugal with his money. And, he’s also a very busy businessman. Some on here are convinced he is doing this so that Cruz can sail into the nomination. Why? What does he owe Cruz that he would waste all his effort to do this? It doesn’t make sense.

There does seem to be some sort of rapport between the two, for whatever reason. I’ve supposed that Cruz would make a good choice of VP for Trump. I just don’t see Trump building himself up for the office of President as he is doing while intending to hand it over to someone else.
