I still do not think he could pull in the votes to win. Trump drops out, the votes scatter.

Really, it isn’t personal or anything. That said, his vote for TPP and his vote for the corker bill do give me pause.

Teds money is donor money. Donor money is Goldmann Sachs and others similar.

Bothers me. But I would vote for him.

Do you think I work for Goldman? I’ve raised over $40,000 for Cruz.

“Teds money is donor money. Donor money is Goldmann Sachs and others similar.”

I heard Cruz say something interesting in his speech today. He said that he has raised more $ than Bush. He has. But even more interesting is that the average donation for Cruz is around $68 and the average for Bush was around $900. It illustrates who is donating to each candidate. One is obligated to a lot of average Joes like you and me, the other big donors.

When people say that they like Trump because he isn’t taking donations I wonder if they think only independently wealthy people should run for POTUS? Because unless you are wealthy enough to self fund you will need to seek financial support from somewhere. I find it reassuring that Cruz’s donations represent a large number of people just like me who have put their faith and trust in the man.
