Carson is a really great guy, but he also seems like he’s on valium. Trump and Cruz were both good, and I think Huckabee was better than expected for the second time.
Rubio is extolled as some kind of foreign policy expert, but he really couldn’t explain how overthrowing Assad would do anything but help ISIS. His answer that we could of found moderates two years ago shows he doesn’t really think about anything. Trump, Cruz and Paul all ate his lunch on that.
Well, if nothing else, establishmentarian is the biggest word I’ve heard this week. :)
You are right, that was a good moment, but like you said, if it goes over the audience’s head, it isn’t going to propel him to winning. You have to win over the audience, which is why Trump is doing so well.
the problem is the establishment want bush and grass root republicans look at bush and see someone that came into the process thinking his name would be enough to get him in. while I dont suport Trump I think his entering the ring had the fect of getting the electrat to look at who the cantadates are and those voters dont like what they see nd are suporting trump just becouse they dont like the polititions that the big money packs are trying to pick.
I don’t think Trump did such a great job tonight, however I am STILL with him because he CAN NOT be bought!!!! Campaign Karl is having a melt down I can’t stand him!!!!
They left Carly Fiorina off the list of “establishment-friendly” candidates.
If Bush and Rubio collapse, the GOPE will consolidate around fiorina.
Fiorina is an “outsider” only in the sense that she has not held office before. She is as moderate a candidate as anyone in the race. If she keeps tearing up the speeches and debates, she may become the GOP-E choice.
I was a Cain supporter. He was submarined by the GOPee Uniparty because he wasn’t Romney. He was the designated divide and conquer, conservative du jour.
Just as Obama was a blank canvass upon which leftist voters projected their dreams in 2008, Trump is providing the same service for the right in 2016.
Thus far, Mr. Trump has given us no reason to believe that he intends to shrink government. Indeed, the opposite is a more likely outcome.
Carson doesn’t have “religious bonafides”.
He is one of the end customers of Planned Parenthood’s baby part selling business.
Ben Carson has religious bonafides in the same way Ted Bundy had religious bonafides.
Kasich reminds me of my inebriated Uncle Baxter, who is in a “Gollum/Smeagle” conflict battle between his right side vs. left side, exhibiting jittery motor skills as a result. Then, sometimes he is thrusting outward on tippy-toes from one side only, his left arm limp at his side.
What is it with his constantly puckering lower lip, like he is trying to keep his dentures from popping out. He just looks like he is marginally able enough to keep from drooling out the side of his mouth.
“The key to this election is outsider, Trump would gain nothing by picking a politician.”
Carly is a politician, just not one who’s been elected. 2006 McCain campaign and a losing 2010 Calif senatoral bid against Boxer. After working for and addressing the RNC convention in 08, she said that neither Palin nor McCain were capable of running a corporation. She has some interesting nonprofits mentioned in the wiki article about her.
Not horse face... eagle beak. Get your insults straight... ;-)
Carson basically took himself out. That answer about Afghanistan is going to haunt him.
