“They” were figuring he would have flamed out by now on his own, due to his “controversial” statements. Now they are exasperated to see him leading every poll, in every state. They have run out of clues. So they ask him point blank what would make him drop out.
I ask them, What is “controversial” about common sense solutions?

No. They're running because they were recruited bythe RNC to run, to divide up the 75-80% of primary voters who didn't support Jeb! to give him the nomination with only 20-25% support from the party. Trump has come in and ruined their plan. It's basically the plan that gave us Mcain and Mitt, but it's not going to work this time.
The losers are still in this thing because the GOPe is so stupid and clueles that they still think Trump is a flash in the plan that will eventually fizzle out.

I am just a lowly naturalized US citizen, but even I want “America First” candidate. I have waited 45 years since my citizenship, for such a candidate, and Trump is the first one.
