Don't think that Jeb said exactly or even approximately what you just said. But I basically agree with the latter, not the former.

That said, I would let up on Jeb for a few days, to allow him to withdraw gracefully, if he does not do well in the most favorable forum that he will have--the CNBC debate. I do not ever like to kick anyone who is down. (But he is fair game in that debate--do not misunderstand my point. The fact that the CNBC regulars have been very partial to Jeb certainly does not entitle him to be babied.)

Yeb! should withdraw simply on the basis that he pinned the Liberty Medal on Her Heinous's chest. How in the world could a guy who knew he was running in 2016 when she'd be the odds-on favorite for the Dems not see the folly in doing that? It tells you all you need to know why the Bushes ultimately wilt against the other side.
