In 2015 I moved back to Texas from Southern California and chose Dallas. I’m glad I found a nice part, Garland, but am happy with all of DFW. I work in a less than perfect area, but you’ll find that any place.
Is that over by the large reservoir you cross on I-30? I took an unplanned tour of Grapevine due to construction once and it seemed nice enough.
Are you and your family OK? Garland took a beating during the 12/26/15 EF-4 tornado. You are right, some areas of DFW are less than stellar. I just drive with my doors locked and avoid ANY area south of downtown Dallas after dark as I dislike being carjacked, robbed, or shot.
