What was dishonorable?
Carson campaign said he was leaving the campaign trial and going home. All political observers know what that means.
The Cruz campaign acted in good faith with the information they were given by CNN.
To: one Lord one faith one baptism
Carson said he was going home, not dropping out, and his campaign clarified multiple times that he was NOT dropping out. The idle speculation of some talking heads was somehow transformed into a announcement by the Cruz campaign that Carson was definitely quitting the race.

If anyone has a problem they should take it up with Chris Moody, or really, with Carson himself which is where the whole mess got started.
