That was the same thing being said in Iowa. Think before you speak.
Now, don't talk about Iowa polls, that's so dicey to predict I have no problem with that.
New Hampshire polls called it pretty well. Unfortunately, SC polls are right now saying it's going to Trump in the first position.
Deny it all you want, but it's his to win or lose. The polls are too overwhelming.
I'm not saying it can't change, that he can't win, but right now to call Cruz the favorite is delusional.
White Evangelical Protestants like Trump more than Cruz. Cruz played a John The Baptist like role in setting the stage for revolt against the GOP so someone more powerful can finish the job (no disrespect intended with the comparison).
Gee.... I remember when it was not polite to talk about the religious faith of the candidates.
Trump is the front runner. It does not matter how little or how much effort or money you put into winning an election, the only thing what matters how many votes you get. The guy who gets the most votes wins, in this case, Trump is the front runner. And as for for total delegates won, Trump wins again!
yeah i have to STOP THAT lol
is that what you personally wish your name was? sally?
it’s ok. :)
you can wear a pink pretty skirt and go walking in the moonlight.
it wont make you less of a man.
That may be true in NY, but democrats here in Nevada seem to love Trump.
I don’t know. If this were four years ago I would be inclined to agree with you, but now the Republican electorate, a good portion of them, have had enough of any elected officeholders with an R by their name. Trump will get a surprisingly large share of votes from conservatives and evangelicals throughout the south. They want to shake things up in DC and its not strictly about ideology with them in picking a candidate. Don’t fool yourself into thinking evangelicals and conservatives are a monolithic group all in lockstep to vote for Ted Cruz.
i just dont see many blue dog democrats around anymore.
obama’s double win kind of points that out.
but we shall see.
Maybe you were on another forum because I’ve seen quite a bit of dishonest attacks on here from Trumpeteers. It is an insult to listen to you describe Trump as the anti-establishment candidate when you evidently don’t remember record or seem to know anything else about him prior to 2015. Ted Cruz has waged a battle with the establishment in Washington to the point where Hatch and other establishment republicans took to CNN after Iowa to convey their dismay and “hard feelings” if Cruz were the nominee. Like Carter, they know Trump, in the end, is malleable and will cut deals.
Only two states have voted, so there are 55 more to go.
As I said earlier, Cruz leads in California and Arkansas too. Look it up.
LOL, good one
Quite the opposite. You don’t want to face the very real scenario that South Carolina could be a bigger loss for Trump in South Carolina than Iowa but spare me the pollster predictions that were completely off in Iowa and didn’t get the results right in NH. I will agree to wait till a week from Saturday but I know for a fact the Cruz campaign has been working for a long time in South Carolina and the ground game is very impressive.
No.
When the same guy has...
The most delegates
The largest popular vote total
And leads the national polls
That guy, by definition, is the front runner.
No blasphemy was intended.
Why:
Poll: Alabama is the Most Conservative State
Poll: Trump leads GOP field in Alabama
These two articles are from the past 2 weeks; AFTER Iowa, but BEFORE New Hampshire.
If Trump is 20 points ahead of Cruz in the MOST conservative state, how does Cruz compete?
Alabama votes on Super Tuesday, which is 19 days from now.
Can Cruz overtake him here (in Alabama)? Not from the people I talk to. They're pumped! 2009 TEA party level frenzy.
