The GOP doesn’t have superdelegates. Each state has their two RNC members and party chair that are automatic delegates because they’ve already been elected at local/state party meetings/conventions. Their national convention votes are subject to state party rules just like any other delegates.

I read somewhere on FR that about 8% of the ‘pub delegates are super delegates. I could have mis-read it and have no link.
