Cruz needs to drop out. It’s either his ego, or the GOP-e has something on him, or his wife has threatened Holy Hell unless he wins.

Liar-globalist Cruz should drop out and pick EITHER
Amanda,
or Heidi,
or Fiorina
... and take a month in Hawaii.

I generally agree with Laura but not on this. IMO Cruz is not eligible to run.

Actually Trump needs to join Hillary over on the democratic ticket, they both are extreme leftist and both of them just love and admire Reid, Pelosi, and Schumer. Plus most of what they believe mirrors the beliefs of their buddy, onama.

If the end result of all her shame and suffering is the White House, Heidi will gamely stick it out. Goldman Sachs will give her a nice big bonus for her trouble and she will have helped them defeat the only real threat to their control. That will earn her hundreds of millions after leaving the WH.

Does anyone believe she has not been on the phone with her bosses about the womanizing and her response? Anyone?

Why should Cruz drop out. He is leading in Wisconsin by double digits and in a virtual tie in California.

Trump is destroying his own campaign every time he opens his mouth.

You know who needs to drop out? North Carolina.

They have no chance of winning against a streaking Syracuse Orange. So, why bother even showing up. Just give up and head home. Why even bother traveling to Houston?

Make any sense to you?

Well, it doesn’t make any sense to me either. Only a jackass would suggest that one side in a contest should preemptively give up, disappoint their supporters, and make a mockery of the entire process.

In fact, I think that the only people who could seriously entertain such a suggestion are those who doubt their favorite can win. I certainly think that is true of the Trump fans. I think that more and more they are coming to see him as most of the voters see him: as a person with a deeply flawed psyche and a person addicted to juvenile jackassery. A person completely unsuitable to serve as President.

If Trump wants it, he has to win it. Just like Ted Cruz or anyone else. It isn’t going to be handed to him, and neither he nor his supporters should expect otherwise.

So to Trump and all his supporters; Put on your big boy pants and play the game out to the finish. And stop your endless whining and complaining about not being treated fairly. When has Trump himself ever been fair? He has lied, twisted, dissembled, distorted and slandered his way to where he is now: on the brink of defeat.

So, either fight back or go home, but please don’t demand quarter from your opponents, especially after the last few days.

Trump needs to make a deal with Cruz to drop out, in return for nominating Cruz for the open Supreme Court seat vacated by Scalia's passing, after he's elected president with Cruz's support.

Conservatives get a real conservative, constitutionalist jurist on the SCOTUS. The job suits him better than senator or even president. The Senate would gladly approve his nomination just to get him out of their chamber. Ted would have a real impact on the country as a justice.

I imagine myself in his shoes...got Kasich hanging in like a vulture ready to grab the number two slot that I don't think he deserves, I got people around saying they want me to win,...it would be a hard choice to make I think. I can not fault Cruz if he doesn't make it.

But I would love to see him cut a deal with Trump where he ends up filling Scalia's spot on the court.

cruz needs to stop doing the establishments dirty work and those supporting him are just voting for the establishment and protecting the establishment they so much said they were against , until they saw a losing campaign for their guy

give it up cruz and stand against the establishment.

Guess he lied back then when he said this too.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

If Cruz had dropped out after Super Tuesday before most of the damage to both were done it would have made more sense. CRuz had lost all the races on Super Tuesday and it was clear he could not get the delegates to win the nomination before the convention.

Whether it was pride, ego, or whispers in his ear he let the GOPe convince him that by staying in he either had a chance or he gains a committee chairmanship after the election.

He will be the cause of the GOPe retaining control of the nominee and not pushing for the will of the voters on issues.
