Trump has to get 1,237 delegates before the convention. Cruz does not.
If Trump gets to 1,237, he will win on the first vote. If not, there will be a second ballot, and Cruz will win. (Unless the RNC monkeys with the rules, in which case Hillary wins.)
lol
Youre smoking Cruz Kush no doubt
Roger Stone predicts:
Either Trump on first ballot, or Paul Ryan on fourth ballot.
If Trump doesn’t win on the first ballot some GOPe stooge like Ryan will win the nomination on the 3rd or 4th ballot. Romney and the other sleazebag GOP superfriends will throw Cruz away like yesterday’s garbage.
“Unless the RNC monkeys with the rules, in which case Hillary wins.”
Yes. The RNC will monkey. Count on it.
> there will be a second ballot, and Cruz will win.
Dream on.
The GOPe will not kill the Republican party at the convention by denying Trump and then just hand the nomination to Cruz— not in a million years. The GOPe knows that going to a contested convention will let insiders keep their perks and privileges, but they are also aware that, for all intents and purposes, the Republican party as a viable political entity will be over for the foreseeable future. They are willing to blow up the party, but they will not then give the Presidency, the big prize, to that upstart from Texas that they all loathe. They are using Cruz, period. When his usefulness to the party is over, they will discard him. Anybody who thinks that Cruz has the slightest chance to be President is kidding themselves. It will be Trump or it will be a GOPe stooge, period.
“If not, there will be a second ballot, and Cruz will win.”
There is zero chance Cruz will get the nomination. A vote for Cruz is a vote for Hillary.
The second part is where your logic breaks down. Cruz lost the South, where he was supposed to win. That was when he lost the nomination. He is just trying to steal it from Trump now by joining Bush, Romney, Graham, and all the other politicians who keep lying to us.
Not in a million years. You clearly don't know a thing about this Republican Party. If Trump doesn't win on the first ballot, get used to saying "President Ryan."
