Trojan Horse, Huh? Scott Walker Destroys The Dumb Idea That He Only Endorsed Cruz to Stop Trump
Red State ^ | April 6, 2016 | Caleb Howe

Donald Trump, who previously claimed that nobody would ever work with Ted Cruz, lately complains that too many people are working with Ted Cruz. He also says Cruz is being used by the establishment for the sole purpose of stopping the Trump Train (a fitting nickname for something hurtling to such spectacular wreckage.)

His supporters and surrogates love to float the names of those who will be swooped in at the convention to replace both himself and Cruz. One of those names is Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, about whom they’ve been particularly conspiratorial-minded the last few days, for obvious reasons. Here’s what Walker thinks about that.

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

The bottom line is I am a hundred percent behind Ted Cruz, I didn’t come out against anybody I came out with Ted. I put the whole power of my endorsement, my organization, all my supporters behind making a very clear case that Ted Cruz wasn’t a default choice for me he was the choice for me. I’m going to support him not only here in the primary, I’m going to support him all the way through the convention.

You can’t get much more definitive than that. Walker isn’t playing a game here, Trump fans. He’s endorsing the candidate he thinks is the best choice for President. So are a lot of other people. Sorry it wasn’t your charlatan.

Also I’m not sorry.

The other day I got an e-mail from the Cruz campaign asking for money because it seemed that according to a recent poll, Walker’s endorsement had riled the unions against Cruz, so they needed more money to fight them off. Which is it? Did Walker help or hurt Cruz?

Even if he was using prostitutes as a single man (that’s the time period, before he married Heidi) what is that to the traitorous actions of Hillary Clinton?

Do Ted Cruz Supporters TRULY Not See He’s a Trojan Horse?

http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/04/ted-cruz-supporters-truly-not-see-hes-trojan-horse/

The Cruz supporters are very upset today that Donald Trump referred to their candidate as a “Trojan Horse” for the GOP establishment.

Of course, the statement was true. The GOP elites could give a rat’s a$$ about Ted Cruz. These establishment Cruz supporters are only promoting Ted so that he can deny Donald Trump the nomination. Do they really not see this?

The most hated conservative in the US Senate is suddenly the GOP establishment’s darling?
And they don’t see this?
Really?

I’ve started to worry about you of late, D. :{) As I stated in an earlier thread:

A year ago the thought of Cruz winning the Republican nomination and then the Presidency seemed like an unobtainable dream. Now, because of Trump, there is a real possibility of the perfect storm whereby the previously anti-Cruz elites are pulled into his camp and propel him to victory.

It is a fascinating election season.

Trump supporters, don’t bother either trashing me or attempting to change my viewpoint on this. It would be as foolish as me trying to change your position.

Sounds like a "What difference does it make?" comment from a lyin' evangelical.

Soros is funding #neverTrump. Cruz is #nevertrump now, ergo Soros is backing Cruz not Trump.

One week Scott Walker was quoted saying he believed the nominee would not be one of the three. He said nothing handsome of one Ted Cruz.

The next week Scott Walker endorses the only mule around willing to prostitute himself to the Establishment— Ted Cruz, who actually believes the Big E want him to be prez.

Looking over the obvious and following the money and the machine and the openly flaunted strategy of the Establishment, it is a wonder that this writer and Ted Cruz still can not figure out what a drug mule looks like.

Cruz is carrying the luggage to make Paul Ryan the nominee.

He really doesn’t seem to know that WI voted not for Ted Cruz, but for a contested convention, in order to get their native son, Paul Ryan, in place as the nominee.

We only have to wonder what the creep has been promised in return for so debasing himself.

I could see why Kasich would be Soros pick in this field.

However, Soros and Trump are quite close.

This Trumpster hatred of anything or anyone that challenges their hero “the Donald” is part and parcel of many (perhaps most) Trump supporters.

They will say and do anything to support their Trumpking. No amount of sleaze, bullying, etc, is off limits - and why should it be? The fish rots from the head. Trump has run a gutter campaign and so his mob follow his lead.

For awhile Trump (and naturally his supporters) were saying Cruz is no good because he can’t get broad based support for things from the establishment. Now that he is beginning to rally many sections of the GOP to his campaign, they make the opposite argument that Cruz is bad because he is able to get support from even the establishment.

And yes, the Trumpster is not above endlessly posting trashy gossip, unfounded rumors, linking laughably stupid webpages, etc, in order to destroy the opposition. And why should they be above it? Trump’s own social media director was tweeting out this sleaze and slime. The Trumpster just follows the bosses lead.

It’s simple. Around 1/3 of the right of center voters participating in the GOP nomination process love them some Donald Trump. Nothing will dissuade them. No amount of idiotic things Trump says will matter. You can not reason with most of these people. This is just a poison that needs to work its way through the right of center body politic. Increasingly it looks like Trump won’t get the delegates he needs and will lose to Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot, so in the end we will likely get a real conservative in Ted Cruz and the Trump cancer will fade.

Uh not so much. Walker opened his mouth a day or two before he endorsed and the truth flew out before he knew what was happening.

If that is all they’ve got, that’s pretty weak tea.
Most young men in this country go through that period of trying adult behavior out here and there. This often happens after they have left the family home, or have a car of their own. So long as no ones’saying he beat one of the girls up, or cheated someone with very bad investment advice, I see nothing to worry about.

Walker waited until there were only three candidates in the race, so isn't it fully possible that he only went with Cruz to block Trump?

Or Walker was waiting until right before the Wisconsin primary to maximize the impact of the endorsement.

Hi Mechanicos,

Thank you for your service.

Have you ever read “Candide; or Optimism?” Originally published in 1759 by Voltaire. It would tend to argue with your “logic” in this post. Just because two people support the same goal does not mean they are simpatico in beliefs. Professor Pangloss was a stooge with his “logic.”

Again, thank you for your service.
