Oooh. Name-calling and a photo in the same post. I succumb to your superior intelligence and carefully crafted argument. /sarcasm

You're proving my point, genius.

Here’s an argument that is not name calling.

Wall Street banks and investment firms used the laws to their advantage, and the 2008 recession happened...companies use loopholes to avoid paying taxes and ship their money offshore.

Playing by the rules and using them to your advantage, doesn’t mean you aren’t corrupt. Rules are made by those in power in order to maintain their power. They aren’t going to make rules that risk the people making their choice as a whole.

Nobody knows what the GOPe is. The term has lost its meaning.

If it still had meaning...the meaning you think it has ... you should be a little disquieted that Trump has snatched up a Manafort in a belated effort to help him with The Art of the Deal.

No I don’t. I didn’t go the meetings, I dropped my affiliation with the Republican party, so I cannot vote in them, but they still call. Sorry that people are dumping on you, its a legit question.

.. it would be the same thing with a presidency. He would name the White House for himself and then lose interest ..

Can someone lend a helping hand? We need to get Altura back in his restraints:

The ability to arrange for voters to be represented by a delegate that is loyal to someone the voters did not ask for is not the center of Trump's argument for why he should be President.

Nor would it be an argument for anybody to be President...except perhaps for someone who is insisted the only way to win was not a contested convention and this kind of BS...until the situation forced them to desperate back stabbing measures.

In other words, you cannot refute the points made in the article so you choose to deride it.

All righty, then.

I agree with that, but it doesn't refute the author's contention that Trump has benefited more than Cruz from the rules, nor the author's contention that Trump should be doing a better job at using the rules, if Trump is as smart and competent as he claims. So you are putting forth a change of subject, not a counter-argument.

"Rules are made by those in power in order to maintain their power. They aren’t going to make rules that risk the people making their choice as a whole."

And, ironically, this time, those in power failed. Their rules helped Trump and to a lesser degree Cruz, neither of whom was wanted by those in power. But once again, this does not refute the author's main points.

A Christian should ABSTAIN from all APPEARANCE of impropriety according to The Bible. Ted's failed on this repeatedly.

This was taught to us as kids; but I'm a lot older than Ted. I guess it's not part of Dominionism or Mormonism or Post-Modern-New-Age Christianity or whatever.

We are held to a higher standard, not simply to avoid evil but to avoid all APPEARANCE of evil. Doesn't apply to used car salesmen, lawyers, prostitutes (er I meant politicians) and TV preachers.

Over 1,300,000 voters in Florida voted against Trump. But “Those voters were DISENFRANCHISED!!!!! Trump STOLE all 99 delegates!!!!!” Said no Trump supporter ever.

I’m sorry, but that is a really stupid post...

Nobody whines like Trump. His current whining is playing with only his supporters. Everyone else realizes he is covering for not hiring the greatest after all. You’d think someone would tell him to shut up - that voters don’t like whiners especially when the bottom line is it was his own incompetence that created the situation.

No one planned for Jeb to be sidelined, but Trump did it anyway.

I will forever be grateful to Trump for removing most all of the Unelectables in this cycle, Something Cruz could, probably, not have done. But NOW Trump needs to put his Management panties on and Beat Lyin Cruz.
