So... the whole point of this article seems to be that Cruz is a master politician who knows how to “play the game”... that’s wonderful, he’ll really change things in Washington for sure... in other words, more of the same... sigh...

If you trumpers would just put aside your trump-induced coma about Ted Cruz, you might be able to accept that in Cruz we can get a really principled candidate who can not only beat Hillary but also set the country on a great new path.

No, the points made in the article were not about Cruz at all. The points made were:

1) Trump has benefited more from the system that he whines about than Cruz has.

2) Since Trump is not doing as well as he could be doing if he played the game better, Trump must not be as intelligent and competent as he claims to be.

Even Rush slipped up today. He said that Cruz is an insider, so Cruz knew how to play the game in Colorado, for example.

The Grand Ole Party is again hoodwinking the people.

Of course, Cruz has the same mission that Bush, Rubio, et al, had and failed to deliver on -- stop Trump. If Cruz does that, he will be sidelined on the 2nd ballot, just like the gang of 8 Schumer and McCain sidelined Rubio while they took the bows for the Senate passing comprehensive immigration.

The party establishment have no intention of letting a partial-first-term Senator become the party standard-bearer.

Cruz is not exactly a master at the rules of some difficult game. He is the guy that the establishment is trying to use to stop Trump, and so it needs to give Cruz delegates where it can, but not so many that Cruz ever becomes a threat, either. So party hacks in places like Colorado and Louisiana shepard their fellow party hacks to the caucuses and hotel rooms and ensure that they are the ones who get to serve as delegates. It’s not complicated and it’s not brilliant strategy on the part of Cruz or the RNC, it is just dirty, backroom dealing by snakes who don’t want voters to tell them how to run their party.

Yep, now that he’s ‘one of them’, suddenly the GOPe is the cats meow!

Andrew McCarthy has become insufferable with his hatred towards Trump. Beginning to wonder what is ‘really’ behind it...I strongly doubt it all wrapped up in wanting Teddy..

Oh the webs we weave....
