I was thinking today, it really needs to be Allen B. West. He’s the only one on the national scene strong enough to take over if anything should ever happen to Trump, God forbid.
He says it might be a former rival who hasn’t endorsed him yet and eliminated Rick Perry, if that helps.
I like West a lot, but I don’t think a one-term congressman who most Republicans don’t even know is going to be a high enough profile for the job. He could be head of the VA or something like that. I’d like to see him run for Florida Senate or go back to the House and build a following. I don’t know why he didn’t.
