Some of my favorite Americans have been immigrants. One guy is from Malta. As a boy he watched Messerschmidts dogfighting with Spitfires over his roof.

The problem with this article is they have it wrong from the get-go. We are not worried about immigration. We are worried about people entering the country illegally. The wall is not to keep immigrants out it is to keep people from crossing the border without going through an official entry point controlled by the border patrol and customs.

I believe that this nation is the last hope of Western civilization and if this oasis of the world shall be overrun, perverted, contaminated or destroyed, then the last flickering light of humanity will be extinguished. I take no issue with those who would praise the contributions which have been made to our society by people of many races, of varied creeds and colors.
America is indeed a joining together of many streams which go to form a mighty river which we call the American way. However, we have in the United States today hard-core, indigestible blocs which have not become integrated into the American way of life, but which, on the contrary are its deadly enemies.
Today, as never before, untold millions are storming our gates for admission and those gates are cracking under the strain. The solution of the problems of Europe and Asia will not come through a transplanting of those problems en masse to the United States.... I do not intend to become prophetic, but if the enemies of this legislation succeed in riddling it to pieces, or in amending it beyond recognition, they will have contributed more to promote this nation's downfall than any other group since we achieved our independence as a nation.

Those clueless authors are asking and answering the wrong question.
The issue is a lot more immediate and important : it's not about surrendering our culture and our fellow Citizens; it's about preserving our historical identity as a Nation, without which discussion of culture is uselessly academic.
Without defended borders, no nation on earth can long exist. What could be more self-evident?
We have let in too many people over the last 50 years. We need to stop all immigration for at least 30 years to assimilate what we have now.
All immigration is problem now. We are being colonized.

We are upset, to see how Barky and his government of mooslums are ruining our Country by letting heaven knows what or where coming into our Country and then taking away from our Citizens to take care of them when they haven’t earn a penny towards it and never intends to do so...Upset, you ask, why would we be upset that our health benefits are gone to put money in someone’s pocket, or to see our Veterans and Wounded Warriors who fought for our freedoms be treated like a door mat, or to see all of our jobs going to other countries and a stupid H1B Visa bill was passed by our ‘spineless sissies’ in ‘sewer city’ so our people, our Citizens don’t have jobs to feed their families, or have to live with relatives because they can’t make a house payment for their own homes, or take a child to a birthday party for their birthday because they don’t have the time, because they are working 2 and 3 jobs a day, no we aren’t upset, WE ARE DAMN TIRED OF IT AND MIGHTY FED UP WITH THE LOT OF THEM!!! And don’t ask us to re elect any of you ‘spineless sissies’ because we are tired of you lining your pockets and living ‘high on the hog’ while we are sitting in the ‘cesspool’ you created!!!
