Looks like the naysayers are reluctantly getting aboard the TRUMP train. They don’t want to be left behind.

So Cruz is going to raise money off a PAC that says it’s supporting Trump? Classy.

The money will be there. The donors know he will be prudent in spending it. Most bang for the bucks.

I think Mercer is one of those guys Trump talked about in the primary when he refused to take their money. They’re like gamblers, they just gotta play. And now that Cruz is done, Mercer moved to a different table. A winning table ;-)

And now that Cruz is done, Mercer moved to a different table. A winning table ;-)Mercer has a long extensive history of supporting conservative causes and only conservative causes. Your analogy about him being like a "gambler" "moving on to another table" isn't right.

Am I supposed to be convinced that a PAC that used to support Cruz now embraces Trump? Cruz hasn’t endorsed Trump. Has this PAC officially distanced itself from any mischief from those who aren’t honoring the oath they signed?

The meeting with TRUMP and the evangelical pastors and leaders did much to convince sideline conservatives to join his campaign.

Good. People - even those close to the power in DC - are beginning to understand that a Hillary Presidency would be a disaster after 8 years of Obama (well, it’d be a disaster at ANY time, but ESPECIALLY after the damage that this America-hating clown has caused).
They are beginning to understand that Hillary means:
1) The Supreme Court (and, for that matter, the entire federal judiciary) will be lost, and with it any semblence of the Rule of Law;
2) Continued irresponsible spending, leading to a financial panic and likely depression;
3) Continued weakening of our military;
4) Continued loss of allies, either because they literally get picked off by our enemies, or out of their own sense of self-preservation (i.e. cut a deal with enemies now, before your bargaining position gets worse);
5) An end to fracking, no pipeline to/from Canada, no new offshore leases of oil-bearing property, and the destruction of the coal industry;
6) Continued unlimited immigration, with a decided increase in “random” massacres;
7) Guns are gone;
8) Continued restrictions on free speech, first by pressure, then by law (see #1, above).
9) Significantly increased probability of a war with either Russia or China, and some kind of attack by Iran and/or North Korea (or some combination thereof). This would be the end for this country - with an active 5th column in the media and among many Moslems, not to mention the home-grown Communist sympathizers, it will not be possible to gear up for a war as we did in WW2.
Hillary delenda est!!!!

So, they’re doing it for the right reason, not because they fear being left behind (and not getting something for their efforts which is what “left behind” suggests).

Am I supposed to be convinced that a PAC that used to support Cruz now embraces Trump? Cruz hasnt endorsed Trump." ================ Why? It is readily apparent that Trump stands for many of the same things that Cruz did/does; more importantly - MUCH more importantly - anyone that wanted/wants Cruz for purely ideological reasons would HAVE to be opposed to Hillary. Someone capable of organizing and running a PAC can easily look at history and see that at no time, EVER, has a 3rd party candidate won election - it is always the candidate of one of the two leading parties...so it is either Trump or Hillary, and no amount of wishing will change that. Finally, it might be sinking in that Hillary could quite literally finish Obama's work of destroying this country (after looting it some more, of course). Don't completely discount that people can sit back and re-assess their positions. That's what is known as growth or maturity. Most of us do that every once in a while...so why can't this guy?

I don’t care why someone does the right thing, only THAT they do the right thing. Let G-d worry about the “why” part...we have enough trouble trying to simply survive and hopefully prosper, without trying to psychoanalyze everyone.
Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
