This is to make us think this was a serious interview, that they really are investigating and considering charges.
Nothing will happen.
It’s all b.s. speculation right now. Those who know aren’t talking and those who are talking don’t know, as the saying goes.
Nobody can predict the future, just wait and see.
Here’s my guess, worth the same as anyone else’s:
She won’t skate. That would risk a Saturday Night Massacre or Comey resignation.
She won’t get indicted and tried.
There will be a deal. Hillary will plead to something she can slough off. Underlings will be sacrificed.
The Lynch/Bill meeting was to iron out the details.
I have to say this article makes sense. I would have bet money no charges would be recommended but maybe they are going to try to treat it like a traffic ticket and hope everybody just forgets about it.
Even so Trump can still point to Hillary and say see she’s crooked. Crooked Hillary.

The article contains factual errors. For example, the classified information was born classified because of its nature. It was not retroactively classified. This piece is intended to put the best possible gloss on Hillary Clinton.
It is just this guy’s opinion, no more valid than yours or mine. His thinking is more realistic and less ideological than most journalists.
Somehow, I do not see Hillary plea-bargaining on anything. She can count on crony prosecutors to intentionally foul up any case in court. She will have a DC jury of her peers — selected from a jury pool that is 95% Democrat, and 100% gullible morons. Her attorneys will challenge all the evidence as tainted and plead arcane technicalities, then lay on emotional drivel, sexism, etc. Indicting her is one thing, convicting quite another, and she knows it.
