Hillary Clinton should “cut all ties” with her foundation if she wins the election, Bernie Sanders has warned. It follows revelations suggesting that US taxpayers helped fund the foundation, and that big donors received favors from the State Department.
Speaking to NBC's “Meet the Press,” Sanders said that “at the very least, she should not be involved. At the very least.”
When pressed on whether the foundation should be shut down entirely, Sanders said he didn't “know enough” to answer that question. He also noted that the organization does “a lot of good things with AIDS, and so forth.”

I looked up Pardons - the President can only give a pardon to someone who commits a FEDERAL CRIME but not NOT state crimes or civil liabilities.
If the Clinton Foundation has committed fraud the Clintons could still be prosecuted and if anyone feels they have been hurt by the Foundation they can go to civil court and sue.
She’s in too deep. It has been questioned if she has offered some vert nasty people favors for pay concerning their funds being transferred into her organization. The type of people that want results and not an apology. She can’t get out.

The foundation collected just under a half-billion dollars in assets as of the end of 2014. I’m sure that, over the past two years, it has really raked it in, and it is sitting on close to a billion by now.
That billion is controlled by Bill, Chelsea, and a host of long-term Clinton fellow travelers, from Donna Shalala to John Podesta to Cheryl Mills. How can Hillary “cut” her ties to that and appear impartial going forward?

Since the foundation is, in large part, a joint effort between her and her equally dishonest husband, what good does it do to abandon participation at this point in time? It’s already enriched them and damaged American business interests. Hillary’s famous line, “at this time, what difference does it make?”, is pretty accurate.
