Obamacare was passed with only democrat votes - not a single GOP member from either house voted for it. Once the GOP gained a majority in the house in 2010, Obama has been mostly unable to push anything else. He has gone around congress with EO’s, some of which have been shot down by the federal courts. The GOP did not have a majority in the Senate until after the 2014 election. Before that, a few of the GOP senators — who are roundly excoriated around here these days — managed to use the limited power afforded to the minority party to block much of Obama’s agenda. Unfortunately the GOP Senate Majority Leader and his cabal — who hates the Tea Party senators as much as folks around here do — capitulated rather than choosing to fight Obama on several key items that could have been victories.

All that said, anyone who has paid the slightest bit of attention over the past 30 or 40 years should be able to recognize one key difference between the so-called diversity of the democrats and the so-called “small-tent” republicans: The democrats in congress vote lock-step in unity against a republican president, while the republicans are much more inclined to cross the aisle and vote in a “bipartisan” fashion.

So go ahead and burn it down by all means and vote them out now (which by definition means handing over majority — possibly supermajority — status to the dems) and see what happens. If you give the dems a ONE-VOTE majority in each house, then a president Trump gets NOTHING done unless he decides to declare that he is really a democrat again.

To win you need to have a big tent, you can not isolate yourself. Saying that keep your friends close and your enemies closer

And if they win the primary vote Democrat to get them removed.

These are traitors and they need to be beaten.

With a list like that the real question is who is supporting Trump in Congress?

It must be a far shorter list.

These people were elected for the most part because of the Tea Party and now they want to stab us in the back.

If Obamacare had needed a GOP vote it would have gotten it.

(Actually, I think there was one GOP congressman who did vote for it)

The Left wing Republicans have gotten away with treason long enough, they need to be removed from positions of power.

We have the same problem in Texas where we control every branch of Government, but the House Speaker uses Democrat and Liberal GOP votes to defeat the conservatives.

Enough is enough.

vote Democrat

The demonicRAT party, as a party, favors abortion, faggotry, gun-grabbing, and socialism. I cannot and will not vote for a demonicRAT. Ever.

I can and will vote for the Constitution Party candidate, if the Republican Party candidate is utterly unacceptable.

Former Senator Snowe of Maine allowed Obamacare to leave the Senate's Finance Committee to go to the Senate's floor. (The Stupid Witch)

http://www.politico.com/story/2012/02/9-snowe-votes-that-angered-the-gop-073449

1. In October 2009, Snowe was the sole Republican in the Senate to vote for the Finance Committee’s health care reform bill. “When history calls, history calls,” she said at the time. Snowe said she wanted the bill sent to the full Senate, but noted she might not support the final version — and she didn’t. Still, many Republicans didn’t forget voted to bring health care reform up for a vote.

Sounds like the phony Republicans who vote to give Obama fast track authority (e.g.Cruz) and then say they are against the final product.

The Senators with 6 year terms that are early in their term think they can run their mouths and we will forget (they are wrong)
The Congress critters campaign 24/7 seem to embrace Clinton logic that it is OK to have a Public persona (what their Constituents want) and a Private (how they hide what they are actually doing to their Constituents)
All of them want positive press as well as facetime

Draw an X right there because that is where we are

I'll be voting for Trump, and then for the Democrat in every down ballot race.

Doing so, giving the Senate, and maybe the House to the Dems makes it hard for Trump to enact any of his agenda. Best we wait and get rid of them in Primaries.

Here in Ohio Portman is on the 'list', but the Dem, Strickland, should never be a Senator. Portman is for the 2nd Amendment, Strickland wants it gone. Etc Etc Etc.

Trump can bring these pubbies to heal, not so easy if he had to work with the likes of Chuckie Schumer or Nancy Pelosi.

Methinks perhaps said senators heard from some constituents. You know, those people they ignore unless it’s re-election time.

This election is going to be very interesting...

They had their chance and blew it. Here in Nevada I will either skip voting for the senate candidate or pick the Democrat candidate. Watching to see what Heck does next.

Reminds me of that scene at the beginning of `Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid`, where Butch has to fight Harvey Logan, who`s trying to lead a mutiny within the gang. After Butch dispatches him, one of the more cowardly gang members creeps up to Butch and tells him how he was secretly pulling for Butch all along. Kind of reminds me of these senators.
