Put it this way, we'd have a Senate like this (a possibility):

10 Nazis, 10 Commies, 30 or so Socialists, and the rest
Constitutionalists of one stripe or another.

it sounds good, but it is the system that the Founding
Fathers threw a revolution to get away from.
