True. It’s not the length - your picture looks just fine. He just has it too finely combed or brushed for my taste, especially since it’s dead straight. A guy’s hair should not look too pretty IMHO.

True, it's all in how one wears it. Straight hair on men usually looks a bit feminine, especially with no facial hair to offset.

I have wavy hair so my current look is closer to what you see below.
