Seems to me that it must be an English course, perhaps from what the poster says, it's an English as second language course. Home exam or not, he's cheating by asking others to help. He should do the research, or open the book to find the answers.

Lots of college classes start at 7 AM. They're called Express Classes on our local college. They allow working individuals to get their degree by attending college early AM before work.

Perhaps, but is simply asking someone for the answer "research"??

would it be ethical for me to provide answers for your test? would it be ethical for you to ask?
Good points. This could be a plant trying to see how ethical freepers are.

This missile is designed so that once
Slim Pickens climbs on it nothing can be done to retrieve it.
He knows little of mathematics, and has a Public School level of ignorance of chemistry.

To all who have reprimanded me for providing the answers, please consider me appropriately contrite.
Then again, can we let a fellow FReeper follow in Bluto's ignominious footsteps, racking up a G.PA of 0.00?
To: dawn53
I am not cheating, I am not that sort of person, though I have chance to do it.
Trust me!

Okay. What were your answers?
And how was he able to remember all the questions and their multiple choice answers? Most profs don't give a copy of the test for you to take home and keep. Too much temptation to share it with other students who haven't taken the test yet.

Wow, English
is a tough language. I know the correct answers but it's hard to put a finger on
why they're correct.
Perhaps easier to eliminate the wrong answers.

I'm going to take you at your word that you're just checking your exam.
1.) The answer is A. B would be the continuous tense, which doesn't fit with the context. C is an unnecessary insertion of a new subject. D is the use of the imperfect tense, which talks about a past, continuous event that occured sometime in the past.
2.) A. Try it "Independant on the gov't"? "at"? "with"? Doesn't sound right, does it?
3.) B.
4.) I'd go with C, because the next phrase (perhaps because...) indicates a contrast.
5.) A.
6.) B. The others would be jarring. He knows little of math, and no less of Chem.? No.

We might be giving the wrong answers, but at least we're giving them consistently! See #5. Actually, I have no doubt the answers are correct.

You gave seven answers to six questions!
