Boohoo...Hope Wilford didnt go cry in his locker.

This guy gets hit 900X harder in a game and a coach slap will probably end Beamers career at VT... (i hope not, but im bracing for political correctness)

Couldn't be true- I personally saw and heard Tony Kornheiser this morning say that this could NOT POSSIBLY HAPPEN! And TK knows EVERYTHING- he'll tell you so himself...

Good win for the 'eers. Humiliating defeat for the Hokies, in many ways. So much for the big matchup with the Canes next weekend. I'm just hoping this isn't the start of the annual late season swoon that has happened the last two years.

I figgered you'd be here to post this.

Just saw our hopes of a national championship lost in a stadium with only one full set of teeth. I was out dealing with a family crisis. Did they stink as bad in the first half as they did in the second?

Good. But given that the fix is in, Tech will only move down to #4.

Go Hoos!

Right now, there are probably VT students committing suicide by throwing themselves into the manure vats at the vet school. Having their "national championship" hopes go down the drain, to hated rival West Virginia no less...that's gonna leave a bruise.

Sometimes it's nice to have an alma mater (James Madison U) with an average I-AA program, and live in a town with an SEC program (South Carolina) that has two trips to the CarQuest Bowl as its shining moments in 100+ years. Expectations are very easy to manage! And I can laugh at all the Gamecock fans who think they're going 12-0 every year and are somehow surprised when LSU comes in here and stomps them. :)

That was a first-class butt-whoopin'. I expected a tough, close game - WVU gave Miami fits. But I never expected such domination of the Hokies. Oh well, guess I won't need to make reservations in New Orleans.
