If Isackson is nominated there is a pro life pro 2nd amendment democrat congressman from middle Georgia who can beat him if he gets into the race.

Jim Marshall from Macon, GA is not pro-life. Many of us that live near Macon are very familiar with Marshall as mayor of Macon. He was a failure and he has a lot in common with Wes Clark, he is flip-flop, but good for him for going to Iraq and blasting his own party for their opposition. He ran for the House on a Medicare drug proposal and then he voted against it when he got to the House. And his first vote was for Minority Leader and he voted for Pelosi. Do not be fooled. He will not run for senate because he barely won his own seat, which has a 40 percent African-American population and he wants to defend it. Isakson is a powerhouse. I do not like that he is pro-choice on many matters, but he will defeat all of the other primary candidates because he is campaigning everywhere in the state. Michelle Nunn is not married and has a child. It maybe 2003, but that still was not going to go over well with many women in GA. Her father was a conservative democrat from Houston County and was a protégé of Sen. Richard B. Russell. Nunn would have gotten humiliated in the general election. Squires will get it even worse.
