Bizarro farce, when a person with maybe a paternal Jewish grandfather can change her surname from Rohs to Rosh and pursue her dreams of self-aggrandizement by browbeating the German government into financing a "Holocaust memorial".
The latest tragicomedy with the Degussa company is just adding insult to injury.
The Holocaust memorials (note the plural) already exist; they are in Dachau, Buchenwald, Sachsenhausen, Treblinka, Majdanek... some are in poor repair and falling apart by the day.
"Association of murdered Jews"? Is this some kind of club of zombies? Sickening. The Jewish communities of Germany have largely stayed clear of this "project", but not enough for my taste.
