Did you read the letters before posting? One said something regarding no heart damage. READ, then post.

These are selected letters, much like basing an opinion entirely off of Terrisfight.org (which I suspect they did). For example, it refers, in one place, to Felos only as a "conspirator," rather than an attorney. Not unbiased at all.

I've come to the conclusion that the whole load of Terri Troopers really are the mirror of the "Free Mumia!" people.

Here are some of the similarities:

Both have a legion of supporters who believe, with a religious intensity, that not only are they correct, regardless of the evidence, but that they are JUST.

Both make arguments about not allowing an innocent person to die. The TTs contend that, if there is any doubt, we're supposed to err on the side of "life," while the Mumia Maniacs latch on to phrases like "beyond a reasonable doubt" and then demand that their unreasonable doubts excuse the death penalty.

Both have an obsession with what they see as corrupt judges- in the TTs' case, Greer, and in the MMs' case, Judge Albert Sabo.

Most of them believe all kinds of whacked out conspiracy theories to explain away the facts of the case.

For example, the TTs are convinced that Michael Schiavo tried to kill his wife back in 1990, rather than her suffering from a heart attack due to an electrolyte imbalance as a side-effect of bulimia, and then having her brain damage exacerbated by medical malpractice at the hospital (which is, remember, where the funds for her treatment came from).

Likewise, the Free Mumia people are absolutely convinced that Mumia didn't shoot and kill Police Officer Daniel Faulkner, but that Faulkner was murdered in some gigantic conspiracy by his police department because he was a whistleblower, and that the police then pinned it on Mumia because he was an "activist" (actually a black supremacist).

Both have websites which are the source of all the "myriad facts" that they cite to argue with other people- in the TTs case, it's http://www.terrisfight.org and in the MMs case it's http://www.freemumia.org

Both are convinced that this is THE human rights issue to end all human rights issues.

Both latch onto all kinds of other issues in a tangental attempt to tie everything to their pet cause. The MMs were big on anti-war, and I've seen the TTs attach Terri Schiavo to everything from tort reform to tax cuts (seriously).

These are just a few of the many direct comparisons between the two groups.
