I'm trying to get my former good opinion of them back. Our last major fire here, I went in and gave them a big donation and specified "for victims of the Willow fire". Nope...those victims went begging and the Red Cross said all the money went into their general kitty.
This area is taking in the evacuees from the mountains and the broadcasters keep saying "do not bring clothes or food to the Red Cross. They will only accept money." Uh huh.
