Only 60% to 85% growth per month. Why, that is only 30 times faster than "Moore's law". At this rate it'll take just ages and ages to ramp up. Why, it might be next summer before they've doubled pre-war production peaks.

Yes, it is a quagmire in the truest sense of the word. The pathetic figures above only serve to confirm this.

I imagine that the series complaints about electrical generation are over until May, when use of air conditioning will become important again.

That seems to be true. Improvements over the winter will have the grid humming in May/Jun 04.

This is awesome good news.

In 6 months we have transformed this country.

Good News!! Don't look for this info. any time soon in U.S. media. Thankfully our troops are taking care of business. I heard something that I didn't know until yesterday, there are no longer any imbeded reporters in Iraq. This was reported by a former imbeded reporter from FOX, who was the last to leave Iraq.

For anyone looking to improve their stock portfolio, I suggest watching the companies who are receiving contracts for the rebuilding of Iraq. I bought a certain un-named stock based on their new contracts...and have seen a $1.00 increase in one month. (Actual increase was about $1.50 in 2 months, but I was being conservative and waiting to buy) Do some research and make money on the so-called "bad news" being reported on a daily basis. The percentage of companies reporting positive profits this month is encouraging. I hope that Bush and his staff will be riding a tide in '04 based on a recovering economy.

This is awesome good news.

But that can't be, because Tom Daschle is saddened. Deeply saddened.

Here, Chief!

Contrary to comments from uninformed critics, the power and oil output is extraordinary. Our troops prevented massive multiple fires. They didn't know that Saddam neglected the whole infrastructure and most is being rebuilt by our troops, Iraqi engineers, and civilian contractors.

In just months, the energy output is greater than it was before the war. Smugglers are being tried in court, new Iraqi police are guarding their own facilities and civilian contractors are helping to bring power to areas outside of Baghdad, previously ignored by Saddam.

Shh. Some of the oil has come to the US. But we don't dare talk about it, because that just gives fuel to the fire about Bush wanting the war for oil.
They're really putting it on the world market. All of the importing nations benefit.

I'm not sure about now...but just the military operations were launched in
the spring-time, something interesting appeared in the Business section of The Los
Angeles Times.
I can't remember the statistics, but the take-home of the article was that some
California refineries used Iraqi "sour" crude. That might be one reason (besides
just pacifist ideology) for Californians oppossing the war: they want to keep
gasoline for their Benz, Beemers, and Land Rovers as cheap as possible.
