How do you explain to an audience that Quentin Tarantino appeals both to teens and to empty-headed critics precisely because something is terribly amiss in America, when affluent and leisured suburbanites are drawn to scenes of raw killing as long as it is dressed up with "art" and "meaning"?

Yesterday heard that demented little creep saying how Roman Polanski and the 13 year old really had consensual sex. How she was into it. (on Howard Stern show) This is the kind of trash who makes some of the movies in Holly Weird, along with that got-a-sex-change brother who created the "Matrix" films

The fact is that violence/horror has always been a staple of films. Quentin Tarantino makes those kinds of movies. Really, they are just camp and schlock for the most part. Sometimes not. Jackie Brown was just a hip genre picture.

But what I'd like to know is why is that fault of the Jews when an Italian director makes a violent movie?

We all wish every film were Shakespeare In Love, but that's not the way it is. There are violent images everywhere, and I guess people live vicariously through them.
