It's interesting to note how the rhetoric about McNabb has subsided since Rush's comments. Say what you will, I think Rush was right so the reports have been more realistic since.

Rush was right! Rush was also politically incorrect in a PC venue.

IMO, this realization brought Rush to rehab. He has had better control in the past when dealing with prime time TV as in his old TV show, but this one slipped out and they went after him in a frenzy.

Right or wrong concerning McNabb at this point means nothing. What is allowed and isn't allowed outside of EIB means everything.

Rush still won't need but half his brain to whack the libs, but he needs the second half to stifle himself on his next prime time venture.

Being Rush Limbaugh means 100% of the DNC is out to get you. That is a great honor! <|:-)~~

It's week 9 of the NFL season and McNabb threw his 1st touchdown pass Sunday. Just the facts.

Did anyone catch "Fox NFL Sunday" this week? Brown was introducing a story about McNabb and he mentioned the Rush/ESPN debacle. Then Bradshaw, off-camera, snidely remarked, "And where's Limbaugh now?" Brown coolly replied, "You know where he is." While I don't know Brown's stance on any of this, he stayed centered on the topic, whereas Bradshaw came across as a total horse's ass.

I don't really follow sports news, but even I have begun to see stories about how McNabb isn't 'all that'. He may have lost the ESPN gig, but his statement certainly lit a fire under some sports writers!

I can't wait for Rush to return, and I pray his efforts have met with success!

I'm watching Pardon the Interruption, the sports talk show on ESPN TV with Tony Kornheiser.

In discussing Donovan McNabb's pitiful performance this season, Kornheiser surmised that Rush's statements have made it almost impossible for anyone to criticize McNabb, for fear of being accused of racism.

I went to the official NFL site to check QB ratings, and sure enough, of all the starting QBs, McNabb is, far and away, the lowest ranked!

I've set the table out below, but please go to the link, which is much more legible. You'll note that McNabb is rated 50th out of the 59 NFL QBs, and all the ones rated lower are scrubs.

The Maharushie spoke and it has come to pass. Another shift in the "right" direction.
