does Rockefeller's recitation of the history of the Intel Committe have ANYTHING to do with the issue at hand? I.e., the memo HE directed HIS staff to draw up on how to USE the Intel Comm for political purposes to harm Bush and Republicans? He's just trying to bore everyone to death so they don't act as if this is significant.

Rumor has it, Rockerfeller has cancelled any evening appointments so me may attend a mandatory lesson at the Clinton School of Spin with Senator Hillary Clinton presiding.

Amazingly enough (sarcasm), I don't see a single article in the Washington Post, the New York Times, the LA Times, or the USA Today over this Democrat memorandumThey're probably working overtime on their "WATERGATE II" headline for tomorrow. They'll make the acquisition of the memo "the big" story here, not the contents. Just like the impeachment fiasco where Clinton's violation of the law was downplayed, while Ken Starr's prosecution was demonized. They're really good at turning things up side down.

are you listening to this POS rockefeller...he said the ends justify the means
To: EDINVA
Yes - you're absolutely right: he is making personal and political choices about the priority of United States Intelligence information, then attempting to use beneficial fragments of that information in an attempt to overthrow (effectively) the Government of the United States.
I believe Jonathon Pollard is in jail for doing less with one of our allies (which, for the record, I happen to believe he deserves).
To: TomGuy
He's lying on the Senate floor he should be removed tarred and feathered.

They'll make the acquisition of the memo "the big" story here, not the contents. Yes, the old "stolen property" routine. Throw in a little "right-wing hate radio" and you have the whole shebang.
It's Groundhog's Day yet again.

Well, since the memo leaked yesterday, they don't have much choice but to go ahead with the main feature: call for an independent investigation.

They'll make the acquisition of the memo "the big" story here, not the contents. Cry me a river, then talk to one Donald Rumsfeld, Secretary of Defense, about leaked memos. The DEMs can't have it both ways.

It's Groundhog's Day yet again.Loved that movie! Great for entertainment, but very tiring when played out by these clowns year after year.

He's now being interrogated by Durbin, who will spin this in the best RAT light possible. Good grief, I have just stepped into the Twilight Zone. "Foregt it Jake....it's The Senate"

I agree 100%. Term limits would prevent the "friendship" bonds, the "club" being a shadow government, etc.

Has anyone admitting to writing the memo? Curious, isn't it, that Rockefeller would defend the memo but not cop to writing it? Or ID who did. Here's a possibility, what if the writer wasn't actually on the intell committee, or even a staffer, but someone who wanted the intell committee to do his/her dirty work. We need to know who wrote that memo.
To: LisaFab
Durbin already 'pulled the trigger' this morning. The dims are defending the indefensible with offence. It is based on lies and deception, and Goebbles is chuckling in his grave.
