What I've observed is that universities and colleges will offer insurance, but it is so expensive that the students can't afford it.

Like the girl in the article said - food and shelter have to come first.

I'm on a wire for the next four years, myself. Health insurance is out-of-the-question expensive and other than an appendectomy, I have never had a health failure. Keeping fingers crossed.
