MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican police have captured two leaders of a gang that smuggled illegal immigrants from the Middle East across the border into the United States, an official at the attorney-general's office said on Friday.

The official, who did not want to be identified, said the pair, both Mexicans, were arrested in the border city of Tijuana, across from San Diego, California, on Thursday.

"That makes seven members of this network arrested," the official said, putting the number of illegal immigrants involved at more than 200.

Other suspects seized earlier this week included a former Mexican diplomat who worked in a foreign ministry office that gave out passports, the official said.

The official had no further details.

Mexico has tightened security on the border since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks in the United States.

Thousands of illegal immigrants enter the United States through the 2,000-mile border with Mexico every day, often with the help of people smugglers known as "coyotes."

These Arabs will soon have drivers licences, social security cards and voter registration cards.

The drivers license initiative is quietly, steadily gaining signatures. We're not going away quietly...

Now those two comments are a classic example of an oxymoron.

Gosh, they have captured a few out of thousands.

Notice the term "illegal immigrants from the M.E." as opposed to "undocument migrants from the M.E."

According to this article Mexico has done us a huge favor by arresting Mexican gang members after the fact of smuggling 200 M.E. into the U.S.

Isn't Mexico a great neighbor???? (Sarcasm)

Everybody should be buying lots of ammo and firearms. I wish the "office of Homeland Security" (barf) would say so, but they are too busy obstructing the arming of commercial airline pilots.

Fidel Castro Ruz Says US Should Return Aztlan Back to Mexico

MEXICO CITY -- Cuban President Fidel Castro said that the United States should return to Mexico huge chunks of that country's territories it acquired more than a century ago. In a fiery 90-minute speech, the Cuban leader claimed that the United States wrongly appropriated more than half of Mexico's territory, mostly through successive invasions. These include Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

"Now, they are terrorized because Mexicans cross'' into what is properly their territory, Castro said. He said that in effect, Mexicans are reconquering their own land. Castro's comments were contained in a speech he gave at the close of an international congress of educators in Havana, the Cuban capital, including several hundred teachers from Mexico. Excerpts were contained in a dispatches from Havana by the Mexican government news agency Notimex and other news sources, in Mexico City.

Reading speeches like that helps me understand why so many members of congress want to lift the Cuban trade embargo.

They're traitors to our Nation.
