It would be a HUGE mistake to show weakness in the face of Chinese blackmail. Over the past 50 years they have shown themselves to be very good at demanding things, and very bad at keeping their side of the bargain.

This would only confirm the view of Chinese leaders who argue that we are a Paper Dragon ripe for a pushover.

The Chinese are too smart to bite the hand that feeds them .... China has MUCH MORE to lose in a trade war with the U.S. than we do .... although frankly, I'd love to see it! The Chinese are our real, natural enemy .... we will have a great war with them one day .... better sooner than later while they are militarily inferior.
