A lot of people must also believe that the earth is flat, that pi = 3, and that men can marry each other.

Ooops. They do. Never mind.

OK:

Read THIS story (of the same convention!) thread, and see how the democrat's side of the story is "pushed" ... and all these troubles are ignored!

Perhaps a lot of ideologically-oriented people, whose religion and the highest arbiter of right and wrong is the Democratic Party.

Ok, I'll give it to them. The Florida election was stolen from the Democrats....by AlGore. It was close, I'm sorry to say and can not understand to this day, but thankfully, Gore is an idiot.

Their venom and treachery has since stolen the whole damn party and flushed it.

These whiners tried to STEAL the election. What they sincerely regret is that they were not able to get away with it!

feelings, nothing but feelings!

Get a life Dems. I refer you to Bill Sammon's book, "At Any Cost : How Al Gore Tried to Steal the Election". Herein is where the total truth of that ugly episode is told!!!

Eat it, Democrats!

They should me upset.....

1. They convinced the networks to call the state before the polls in the western part of the state had closed

2. They tried to punch out so many fake votes in Broward County that there were dimpled chads...(if my memory serves me right, someone tried to create a dimpled chad and the only way you could do it was to stuff about 10 ballots into the same machine and push all at once....leaving the last few dimpled).

3. They fought (fought mind you) succesfully to disallow late but real absentee votes from the military..(for that alone they should be foreve shamed)....

4. They had State Supreme Court justices making up rules as they went along and

5. They "cherry picked" the counties they wanted to have recounted and

6. Finally, they had folks from their own party doing the recounts without witnesses....

And they still didn't win....in the immortal words of Nelson Muntz.....HA HA!

The GOP wants to avoid memories of 2000 where it can.

We should NEVER FORGET how the Democrats disenfranchised men and women of our armed forces.

We should never allow it to be forgotten.

Every person walking into a voting booth should be reminded, upon entry, that DEMOCRATS FOUGHT TO DISCARD MILITARY VOTES.

because a lot of people feel a Democrat was elected

Even though a major newspaper unofficially recounted all the ballots using the most liberal standards for judging and Bush actually picked up votes.

I read that many newspapers were in Florida recounting votes and evry single one of them concluded that Gore lost any way they counted.
