Persecution tends to spread a religion further abroad, not stop it.
I don't equate Islam with Catholisism or any other type of Christianity in any way whatsoever. Our God is God and the light, not theirs. Isreal is also ours and not theirs and OUR God will reign.
And God's in charge, not you--thank God for small favors like that. Your viewpoint is amazingly in sync with Osama bin Laden, except that you don't go to a mosque. You claim divine sanction for acts that the Almighty will disown in a heartbeat.
Christianity must either be qualitatively different from Islam, or it isn't Christianity.
Believing them when they say they want us dead (and prove it by killing us) is not the same as persecuting Jews for just being Jews.
A relative few loudmouths out of 1.2 billion want us dead.
There are a few loudmouth Christians (Gary North and other "theonomists" and "Christian Dominionists" come to mind) who demand that we stone people to death for blasphemy and such.
Do you judge all of Christianity by the conduct of people like Gary North? Or do they get some sort of pass?
