OK< i dont want to pee on the parade, but I wish someone better had made the announcement (like Rumsfeld) "We Got Him" is just not dignified enough for the U.S. of A.
He should have simply stated "U.S. Forces have captures Saddam Hussein"... He also diminished the presidents visit to the troops in Iraq by being too flippant too...

Apparently those at DU are not impressed by the capture of Saddam. Wasn't it the dims such as Daschle who kept pointing to the fact that Saddam wasn't captured as the measuring stick of success in Iraq? Hypocrites.

The hard work, blood , sweat and sadly the lives of Americas troops has made the world a little bit safer once again. Congratulations to every man woman and child who supported the military effort on the surface and the civilian efforts behind the scenes.
