You make a good point. If a male soldier is required to bunk and shower with an openly gay soldier, there is no principled justification for keeping women segregated from sharing rooms and showers with men. If gender and sexual orinetation areirrelevant, if it is truly a unisex military, one body--male or female--should be treated no different from any other body. Assign rooms by lot and leave nature to its course.
