Large or small if they stand with us they deserve respect.

If they stand against us at the very last they deserve our disgust, future distrust, revulsion and a long wait before we ever come to their aid again.

I visited Bhutan last summer. The people of that wonderful country have little interest in world affairs. Their principal concern is to preserve their culture while importing the best the West has to offer. They went to war with the terrorists encamped in their southern jungles only after years of attempts to cause them to leave peacefully. After the Southern California fires my friends and I received word from our friends in Bhutan that they had lit their butter lamps to pray for our safety. I will in turn pray for them and for a speedy and successful conclusion to their campaign.
