[history]
Secularist fanatics try to take "holy" out of the holidays.
If you like your Christmases straight--i.e., "Merry Christmas" instead of "Season's Greetings"--the run-up to Dec. 25 can be a trying time. And this year the grinches are again out in full force, trying their best to strip from our public squares any hint of what most Americans will actually be celebrating come Christmas morn.

We should all reply to the greeting, "Happy Holidays" with a "And Happy Holy Days to you."

"Christmas" is the Christ Mass, the Festival of the Nativity of Our Lord. ("Mass," i.e., the Divine Service of Word and Sacrament.)
Happy Holy Days.

Get this. My wife's mother told her tonight that their Baptist church (in a little town 45 miles east of Little Rock, Ark) is in a feud because some of the congregation, mostly the younger families, want to include (you'll love this) SANTA CLAUS in the annual church Christmas program.
The Reverend last Sunday basically said those that wanted Santa Claus could leave the church and go to the Episcopalians. That has people riled up and it's a "crisis"!
Santa Claus in the church on December 25th for the program. Now that is just plain stupid.

Without CHRIST MAS.....there would be NO DAYS OFF for these idgits.....NO SHOPPING REVENUES for the RETAIL Stores....and NO A.M.E.R.I.C.A......but, then, sometimes, I think that's what they want....NO America.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.

"...With a straight face the city fathers insisted that the tree they put up each December was not a Christmas tree at all but a "tree of lights" commemorating Pearl Harbor." I like it. :o) Reminds me of this:
MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'all!

just wait until the ACLU realizes what the dictionary already makes clear: That the word "holiday" itself comes from the Old English "holy day." The ACLU already realizes this .. why do you think the are on a witch haunt of any and all symbols that are Christan?
