Remember what happened to the last Republican who was impeached. Nixon was NOT impeached. He was threatened with it, and resigned rather than face the disgrace of impeachment.
What we are witnessing is the removal of "disgrace" from "impeachment." Nixon is less honorable, for having resigned, than Clinton is for being impeached. That is liberalism at work, my friend. Liars and cheats, they are.

Nixon was NOT impeached. He was threatened with it, and resigned rather than face the disgrace of impeachment. It's amazing to me how many people think Nixon was impeached. I had to correct one of my junior high school teachers about that, and that was in the late seventies.
