We've been reading the B.O.N.D. newsletter for a year or so, very admirable work. I'm going to request my public library put this on it's purchase list. citizens can do that, you know. I can at least ask, maybe donate it after I get to read it. I'm going to have to gift a copy to my husband. It makes me feel better that others have run into mean black women. Anyone can be mean but being a white woman married to a black man I just thought it was me. nuff said.

It's not only you. I went to a beauty salon owned by black girls. I literally sat there for two hours while the counter girl took women in front that had no appointment. Everyone stared at me like 'what the hell are YOU doing here?'. Never went to there again. Now where I work, sometimes women will walk in, give me a hard time,etc. I think back on a lot of my experiences and now that I'm older I really feel sorry for all the girls I knew in school.
