Consider this: Free Republic, a conservative American site, is the perfect place for conservative Americans to express themselves, even expressing opinions that are anti-French.

How dare we you say? How dare we be upset that France sabotaged us and stabbed us in the back? How dare we *express* our outrage?

I've made anti-French comments myself, when they seemed appropriate to the thread. But, as teacher used to say, I think it's better to stay "on point," and I thought the anti-French stuff was losing sight of the topic, and then was further morphing into discussions about neo-cons, Israel, etc.
