‘Al Qaeda vows back-breaking strike’

A London-based Arab magazine said on Friday that Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has vowed to launch a ‘‘back-breaking attack’’ on the US by February, confirming an earlier message by the militant network. The weekly al-Majalla said it received an e-mail from Abu Mohammed al-Ablaj, a little known Al Qaeda member, saying bin Laden would release a video tape in which he affirms his group’s determination to fight the US.

‘‘A messenger of bin Laden informed him (Ablaj) that the Al Qaeda leader will appear on a televised tape after the execution of an operation which bin Laden described as back-breaking and which would change the order of things,’’ al-Majalla said in a report in its latest edition.

‘‘They (Americans) should prepare...their coffins, hospitals and graves. The coming days will be full of surprises and great events which will make them a historic example,’’ the magazine quoted Ablaj as saying. The report came after US officials ordered their colour-coded alert system raised to orange, the second highest level, citing possible year-end attacks.

1) What McVeigh did was wholely condemned by Christians, but what the 9/11 terrorists did was not condemned by muslims, infact there are many pictures of muslims dancing in the streets on 9/11 after finding out what happened that day in "Amreeka".

2) You continue saying the muslim terrorists are politically motivated and not religiously motivated, by which you are in direct opposition with Osama. Would you tell me what country, what political party, or other political affiliation the terrorists are connected?

You are correct. If you were to pry apart the sticky pages of the true version of the koran, you would find that it is a sin NOT to murder any who would NOT accept islam as the one religion. I don't think you would find the equivalent sin in any other religion.

According to news reports, Timothy McVeigh, a lapsed Catholic, received the anointing of the sick, a Catholic sacrament, just minutes before his execution. snip

If this is the case, and McVeigh's confession and contrition were sincere, he received Christ's pardon for all his sins, thus reopening the way to heaven.

According to Catholic teaching, McVeigh faced his Lord and Savior for judgment immediately after his death. If he was indeed in a state of grace, he would be received into heaven or sent to an intermediate state called purgatory for a period of purification. There also he would be punished for past sins that, although repented, still needed to be atoned for.

What has become of the immortal soul of Timothy McVeigh? Only God knows. But if McVeigh confessed his sins, he did what the church required to have the merits of Christ's redemption applied to him. There the case rests.
