and my brother who lives in AZ plus a retired Marine friend who is a deputy sheriff in AZ tell me that it's common knowledge that middle easterners abound in Mexico who have been offering LOTS of money to be escorted through the border to someplace beyond the checkpoints.

What have you, your brother or his friend done about that? Have any of you reported it to the authorities?

I have been told by GO's at Huachuca that reporting the aliens even around the base is ignored. No one to report to and too many incidents.

AFAIK, the authorities already know it. Another former Marine friend is with BICE (formerly customs and INS) and says the same thing. My understanding is that there are orders from DC that arrests are NOT to be made, especially away from the border area. What does THAT tell you? (BTW, the retired Marine/sheriff's deputy is my friend. My brother was in the navy and the only Marines he knows are me and another Marine brother of ours.)... Right, Neil???
