"Is it possible that there's about to be an attack and knowing this, Libya decided to come clean so that nothing gets traced back to them the hard way? "

That's my guess as well, and I bet we are close to the truth.
To: Jammz
Most likely the clock is already ticking for the attack.
Libya coming forward just in time to save their butt?
Interesting thoughts...

He's looking for a Witness Protection Program thing. Imagine having this guy show up as your new anonymous neighbor.

Musa Kusa is known to have spent millions infiltrating Mosques throughout the Middle East over the past 25 years.
Right now, he has no real alternative but to obey Khadafy and turn over *all* intel to us, which will include giving us access to agents who are already infiltrated into places that we need them.
It's not unreasonable to think that more than a few Libyan sleepers are about to be activated *for* us, and no doubt our hit teams are going to be making some very private scores in the near future.
This is a very bad time to be associated with Bin Laden. There must be Palestinians and Lebanese right now who are smart enough to have figured out where all this is leading, and those will be the ones who start having trouble sleeping at night.

Good assessment! --- as usual. :)

I don't believe a word of this article. If AQ had WMDs of any kind it would have used them already.

So when will those who allowed al-Qaeda free rein in the Balkans be held accountable?

Why? There are a thousand reasons, that they may not have, everything from wanting escalation, to terrorist sponsoring countries having strongly advised them otherwise, and so on.

I wonder what else Gadafi knows about AQ and it's links to Terrorist States. Gadafi had better watch out, AQ is going to make taking him out a priority.
Keep a guard up Dubya',for with all the "chatter" lately, don't disregard Mohammar as being a part of the Alqeda agenda, however in the current situation, I doubt this to be true.

Dude, it is a scandal that damns both parties and many generals and diplomats. NATO has divisions and bases in these Balkans and they let al-Qaeda in? On purpose? When? Why? How?

I'd rather buy more oil from Libya than those smelly pig bastards in Saudi Arabia.

Shouldn't this one be with the "Bush Plans to Invade the Moon" article ?? When did the Hindu Times become notable for its accuracy ?
ps: I see no mention of India's own rather extensive biowarfare capabilities.

Frequently foreign news is ahead of the US media.
The Hindu Times is a major newspaper in India.
Also the Australian news had a couple of days lead on the AQ targeting cruise ships story.
To: Tamsey
Now that Gadhafi turned to the white hats, the blacks hats will consider him an enemy. He has added motivation to help us nail as many Al Qaeda as possible. There may also be attempts made on his life for giving this info
