Dean's Web site is begging for non-Iowans to flood into Iowa to make sure Dean wins the caucuses. If I were an Iowan, I would be about as comfortable with this as I am with Europeans trying to influence the U.S. electoral process through donations to Moveon.org.

Shouldn't it be up to Iowans to decide who they want as Democrat presidential candidate?

Brought to you by the same Democrat party who thinks America's rank and file voters are so stupid that their votes need to be diluted by vanloads of minorities driven around from polling place to polling place, homeless druggies whose votes are bought with free smokes, drooling nursing home residents who can't tell you their name, much less who is running, hordes of illegal aliens who need show no identification to vote and, last but not least, the deceased who turn out regularly in Cook County.

The Dems tried the same thing in Minnesota, two years ago, when it was becoming clear that the Wellstone Memorial debacle had destroyed all chances for Mondale to achieve an honest win.

As an Iowan, I would be ecstatic to see the Democrats nominate this lunatic. I can't imagine how much easier they could make things for Bush.

Ain't gonna happen. The DemonRats in Iowa who go to caucuses are extreme party activists. They know one another. One just can't walk into a caucus and vote. Caucuses happen at the precinct level - people here know their neighbors - so some smarmy out of state activist will be obvious.
