>>Where's he gonna get that money, I wonder? The answer is that he's gonna borrow it. The budget deficit is already high. He would make it explode.
He already said he would rollback some of Bushs taxcuts, especially on the upper incomes...I am not defending this additional spending, but *at least* he is honest enough to say he wants to spend your money and he is going to raise your taxes to pay for it...unlike Bush who wants to spend your money and then tells you nobody has to pay for it.
..and by the way; the budget deficit has already exploded. Guess nobody noticed.

Yeah, I noticed, but the point you are missing is that he criticizes the deficit, and at the same time says that he's gonna increase taxes but NOT use the money to reduce the deficit. Rather, he is going to spend it on new entitlements, and then he's gonna increase the deficit by ANOTHER $100B in order to fund this spending on the cities.
So once he gets done increasing taxes, with NO reduction in the deficit, how ARE we going to cut the deficit??? Certainly not be increasing taxes even more. Apparently, he has no plan for reducing the deficit.
