This can't be true. The nice people on the TV news have assured us that it was "10 years of diplomacy" (hmmm, who was President for most of those 10 years?) that caused Khadaffi to come clean!

Although I can't keep up with all the news-media flood, I don't think I've
yet heard Bill Clinton step forward to crow about this suppossed triumphant
culmination of these "10 years of diplomacy".

I suspect after the account of the absolutely flaccid response by Clinton and his
officials (except for Richard Clark, IIRC) to the USS Cole bombing, as detailed in
"Losing Bin Laden", maybe Bill Clinton has (wisely) decided to stay toward
the edge of the media spotlight for awhile.
